LOOKING AFTER CHILDREN’S EARS

Swimming & Ears

If your child has “grommets”, keeping water out of the ears is important to avoid ear infections. You have a choice of ready-made earplugs such as the Docs Proplugs range or custom made earplugs. Keeping earplugs in place whilst swimming or playing in the water or at bath time can be a real challenge. That’s why we stock a range of colourful, comfortable, fully adjustable earbands designed just for this purpose.  The soft neoprene earband is worn over ear- plugs and holds them securely in place.

Personal Music Players: iPods and MP3s

Listening through headphones or earphones allows everyone to choose their own story or music. But have you thought about the level of sound your children are listening to? Suitable for kids over 3 years, Moshi’s range of volume restricted headphones and earphones are designed to reduce the risk of permanent hearing damage that can be caused by continually listening  at volumes considered too high.

Noise Exposure

Recreational noise exposure such as music concerts, car racing, wood- and metal-working hobbies can pose a risk for children as well! Em’s 4 Kids and Em's 4 Bubs earmuffs are designed to protect young children from noise-induced hearing loss.
