Elizabeth Webster BSpPath (Hons) MAud MAudA (CC)

Senior Accredited Audiologist

Elizabeth has been an integral part of the GVHC since December 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Hons) and a Master of Clinical Audiology. After moving from the city to the Goulburn Valley, Elizabeth found that returning to the bustling city life was not for her.

Over the years, she has honed her expertise in paediatric testing, adult rehabilitation (including the fitting of hearing aids), and the provision of cochlear implant services. Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth enjoys playing tennis and barracking for the Geelong Football Club. True to her royal namesake, she also adores her corgi. Planning her next travel adventure is always high on her priority list as is spending time with her family and friends.

Wade Gregory BMus (Hons) MAudSt MAudA (CC)

Accredited Audiologist

Wade has been a valued member of the GV Hearing Clinic team since 2014. Having moved to Shepparton after his audiology studies in Brisbane, he quickly settled into life in Shepparton and has been here ever since.  He enjoys the varied and rewarding workload of a regional setting, from paediatric hearing assessments to adult rehabilitation.

Outside of work Wade is a valued member of the local community arts scene.  When he first moved to the area he was cast as “Cockney Number 3” in Shepparton Theatre Arts Group’s production of My Fair Lady and hasn’t looked back.  He leads local community choir 36 Degrees South, plays various instruments in the GV Concert Orchestra, and can often be found in the orchestra pit or backstage at STAG productions.  In 2020 Wade was awarded Shepparton Citizen of the Year for his services to the community arts.

Jasmine Gili BBioMedSci (Hons) MClinAud MAudA (CC)

Accredited Audiologist

Jasmine is a dedicated Audiologist at Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic. Jasmine began her audiology career in regional New South Wales. She was primarily based in Griffith. She also provided additional cover in metro Sydney and Wollongong. Her journey eventually brought her back to Victoria, bringing her closer to home. She joined Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic in 2023.

Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) and a Master of Clinical Audiology. She works across various areas including diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, wax removal, cochlear implants and paediatrics.

Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her fiancé, friends and family across Melbourne, Ballarat and Shepparton. She enjoys reading, baking and keeps active by running.

Sherri Smith-Hoyer

Executive Manager

Sherri relocated from Melbourne to the Goulburn Valley in 2020 and quickly embraced regional life, settling into a charming 1960s retro home on a small parcel of land.

She joined Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic in early 2025, bringing with her more than 15 years of experience across health and health IT.  Sherri’s background spans business management, strategic planning, and operational leadership, with a strong focus on delivering effective solutions and high-quality services within the healthcare sector.

Her passion for community, combined with her broad industry expertise, supports GVHC’s ongoing commitment to providing trusted, patient-centred care across the region.

Angela Doxey

Office Manager

Angela has been a valued member of Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic since 2001. With more than two decades of experience, she brings extensive knowledge of the administrative and customer service aspects of the audiology industry, ensuring our clients receive smooth and supportive care from the moment they walk through the door.

A proud local, Angela enjoys having her family close by. Outside of work, she treasures time spent with her grandchildren and loves travelling with her husband whenever the opportunity arises.

Ange Bagnato

Clinical Support

Ange joined the team in early 2024 bringing strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to helping clients improve their hearing health. In her role she supports clinicians with appointment coordination, client management, device troubleshooting, and administrative workflows that keep the clinic running smoothly.

Ange is known for her approachable manner and ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for every client. She is passionate about ensuring individuals receive high quality care and enjoys being part of a team that makes a meaningful difference in people’s daily lives.

Outside of work Ange enjoys gardening, taking long walks and spending time with family.

Dierdre Robertson, BComm DipAud DipEd GDSE (HI)

Chair

Dierdre grew up in Ballarat on Wadawurrung Country, the eldest of four kids with three brothers. She undertook further education in Melbourne before working in local schools, including Mooroopna Primary School and the former Shepparton Special School. She worked in a regional early intervention role, based in Shepparton, supporting families who had young children with a hearing loss. Dierdre was our Practice Manager during that time she also worked at the Audiology Department at Goulburn Valley Health, providing support to families whose child was undergoing diagnosis for hearing loss. Dierdre has two daughters and lives south of Kyabram, and in her spare time enjoys reading, gardening and barracking for Geelong.

Dierdre is the co-chair of the Shepparton Region Reconciliation Group and is a passionate supporter of truth-telling, treaty and justice for First Nations people. She has been on the Board of Kaiela Arts since 2017.

Polly Symons, BComm LLB (Hons) GDLP

Secretary

Polly is a Director at Morrison & Sawers Lawyers. Born and raised in the Goulburn Valley, Polly completed her Bachelor of Laws (Hon) and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing at Deakin University in Geelong before returning to Shepparton in 2013. She was a committee member of the Goulburn Valley Young Professionals and has volunteered at the GV Community Legal Centre and as a mentor through the Bridge Young Person Mentoring program.

Lindsay Symons BSc DipAud MSc (Audiology)

Director

Lindsay is an audiologist who, with Dierdre Robertson established Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic in 1987. He grew up in Geelong and qualified as an audiologist in 1975. In 1976 he moved to Mooroopna to take up the new position as Audiologist at Goulburn Valley Health and was a pioneer in infant and newborn hearing screening in Victoria. Lindsay retired from clinical practice in 2022.

He joined the Goulburn Valley Hospice Care Service Committee of Management in 2011, serving as President for three years. Lindsay also established HearSoft Pty Ltd, a software development company specialising in practice management software for hearing professionals, which he continues to manage.

Alice Symons, BEd (Hons)

Director

Alice is a teacher at Wilmot Road Primary School in Shepparton. She was born and raised in the Goulburn Valley and completed her Education degree at the University of Melbourne. Alice returned to Shepparton to begin her teaching career in Mooroopna.

Alice was a member of the Victorian State Singers and has been a chorister with Carols by Candlelight. She has also been a foster parent, a business woman, traveller and a passionate Geelong Cats supporter.
